Course Creator: Moodle

Anyone who knows Moodle will tell you it’s not hard to learn, but that there’s a lot of it! We aim to give you a sufficient grasp and confidence using Moodle in a variety of settings. In addition, you are guided to make informed decisions about the design and implementation of your own courses. The training explores the four parts of Moodle: storage, communication, collaboration, and evaluation through a highly participative environment with great supplemental reference materials. Couse Creator: Google Apps

Google Docs is an online word, spreadsheet, and presentation suite that makes realtime collaboration easy. You can publish documents online to the world, share them to a group, or keep them private for you. Multiple people can make changes at once, and see other people’s changes as they happen in real time. This training focus on using these applications in the classroom and Moodle. Course Outline

Administrator: Moodle/Google Apps

Site administrators perform an important function of managing the Moodle and Google Apps site on a day-to-day basis. They often have exclusive access to settings and options that can impact dramatically on the experience of participants within courses and the degree to which the Moodle site aligns with the wider objectives of the organisation. Our intensive course provides a wide-ranging overview of the administrative functionality that non-technical users* need to be familiar with to manage a Moodle and Google Apps site effectively and to make informed strategic decisions about site set up.
